# linear_team (Data Source)

Looks up a Linear team by UUID or by team key — useful for referencing a team this configuration does not manage.

## Schema

### Optional

- `id` (String) UUID of the team. Set either this or `key`.
- `key` (String) Team key — the issue identifier prefix, e.g. `ENG`. Set either this or `id`.

### Read-Only

- `color` (String) Colour of the team as a hex string.
- `cycles_enabled` (Boolean) Whether Linear generates cycles for the team.
- `description` (String) Description of the team.
- `icon` (String) Icon of the team.
- `name` (String) Name of the team.
- `parent_id` (String) UUID of the parent team, if the team nests under one.
- `private` (Boolean) Whether the team is private.
- `timezone` (String) Timezone the team's cycles and SLAs are computed in.
- `triage_enabled` (Boolean) Whether the team has a triage inbox.
